Founded and launched in December 2009 in Central South Dakota, CommTech put itself on a quick path towards growth as a company. Just two months later, the owners of the Pierre, South Dakota-based company acquired M&N Communications LLC. That move made them the area’s premier communications solutions provider. CommTech has since expanded to become a two-location operation that provides quality technology and communications solutions to customers throughout Central and Western South Dakota.

Over time, CommTech has expanded its offerings to become an established provider of pro audio and video, security surveillance, access control, computing, networking, intercom, telecom, infrastructure cabling, and retail experience for its clients. From complete system design to professional installation and service, CimmTech is dedicated to ensuring their customers’ complete satisfaction. They specialize in technology solutions that streamline the home or office, making technology work seamlessly for their clients.
Their staff brings together over 60 years of combined experience solving communications and technology challenges.
With a mission of being the region’s most trusted technology solutions provider, CommTech strives to provide quality technology solutions backed by the best technical support and service in those area. This is exactly what makes CommTech the premier communications solutions experts in Pierre and Rapid City, South Dakota.
However, the company knows that being proficient in their field is only one part of their success; the customer service experience is a huge part of what makes or breaks a company. And to that end, the CommTech team puts special emphasis on building strong and lasting relationships with their clients by accommodating their needs – not the other way around. Further, the CommTech team always strives to do better on behalf of the client by ensuring the staff is ahead of the technology curve through continued education and technical training.
When it comes to their decision to align with Oasys Residential Technology Group, it’s all about furthering their business and finding ways to grow. CommTech finds major motivation in the opportunity to network with other likeminded businesses that are a part of the group, and there’s of course the added knowledge that they have access to the right product and the right programs that ensure their business can flourish.
The pipeline of projects for CommTech continues to remain steady. The company recently completed a job for Missouri Shore’s House of Hope, a local women’s shelter, that ran at around $90,000. The project included 21 doors of access control, 16 camera surveillance system, intrusion detection and panic alarm system, a Zoom room conference room, networking, firewall to Wi-Fi distribution, a telephone system, and infrastructure cabling.
Looking ahead, the company is set to begin a massive $150,000 project at the Lindskov Ranch Event Center that will include a surveillance system, distributed a/v over IP, a telephone system, network with Wi-Fi distribution, a Zoom room, and infrastructure cabling.
