Welcome to your October 2024 Oasys update, and a special welcome to all the new Oasys Members who joined the group in September. Between CEDIA Expo in Denver and a number of other events, it sure did seem like September blew by in a hurry. That means we’re well into the final quarter of the year now, and we have LOTS to cover for October, so let’s dive right into it.
2025 Oasys Summit. The 2025 edition of the Oasys Summit is heading to Indianapolis, May 7-9! Registration for the event is now open and free for Oasys dealers. Click Here to get signed up! Anybody who knows Indy knows that May is a pretty cool time of year in that town. Although we’ll be there a little early for the BIG race, we have some fun planned with CEDIA being headquartered there as well as Klipsch. The first 50 people to register for the summit will receive a discounted hotel rate of $100/night. The negotiated Oasys hotel rate this year is $255.
Cut the Slack. Slack for Oasys is HERE! In the next week, you all should receive an invite to join the Oasys Slack channel! We’ll have our vendor partners on our Slack platform, however, there will be a Members-only channel for discussion you may not want all vendors to see. This is a great spot to engage and communicate on a more regular basis with your peers, get quick answers to certain challenges, search for (or give) recommendations and a whole lot more. Let’s ensure that we use this tool appropriately and foster an atmosphere of community building that aligns with the mission of our group. Member Survey. Our second Oasys Survey is NOW OPEN. The survey asks about current and future business trends as well as brands in key categories. It’s a great opportunity to benchmark yourself against the rest of the group and the broader custom integration industry.
